A non-exhaustive list of facts about me.
I was born & raised in Ohio. For as long as I can remember, I have been—and continue to be—a diehard fan of Ohio State football. Go Bucks!
Another one of my great joys is music. I have played piano for nearly my entire life. I have also sang in, conducted, and arranged for several choirs & a cappella groups over the past decade.
My first & longest-lasting academic love is pure mathematics. My favorite field (i.e., subject) is abstract algebra. My favorite field (i.e., algebraic structure) is the -adic numbers . In high school, I attended the Ross Mathematics Program twice and returned for a third year as a counselor; those summers remain some of the best & most transformative of my life.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking & exploring different cuisines, biking, and wandering through every art museum that I come across.
